IB Chemistry, SL and HL
IB Chemistry is where a lot of Diploma students first meet a subject that punishes memorising. The papers ask you to explain a trend, not to recall it, and the Internal Assessment wants a question you can actually control in a school laboratory. Lessons work through the syllabus in the order your school teaches it, so the help lands while the topic is still live.
What the lessons cover
- Structure: atomic models, bonding, the periodic table and its trends
- Reactivity: energetics, kinetics, equilibrium, acids and bases, redox
- Organic chemistry, and the reaction pathways the papers keep returning to
- Data-based questions, and the working that earns method marks
- Internal Assessment: a research question narrow enough to answer, and the write-up
How the lessons are scheduled
Subject lessons run 90 minutes; Internal Assessment supervision runs 60. A prepaid package of ten or twenty is not locked to this subject — if your Chemistry settles and Mathematics starts slipping, the remaining lessons follow you there.
