Terms of service

What you are agreeing to when you book. Short, because a term nobody reads protects nobody.

Who you are contracting with

TestPrep LLC., 777 NW 72nd Ave STE 1075, Miami, FL 33126, United States. Teaching is delivered online by its teachers; there are no premises and no in-person lessons.

Prices and currency

Every price on this site is in US dollars and is charged in US dollars. There is no conversion at checkout. If your card is denominated in another currency, your bank may apply its own rate and fee, which is between you and your bank and is not something we see or control.

Prices shown on marketing pages are rounded to the whole dollar. The exact amount, to the cent, is shown before you pay.

What a booking includes

  • Private lessons are 90 minutes, or 60 minutes for IB Internal Assessment, Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge supervision. A prepaid package of 10 or 20 lessons may be used across any subjects we teach for that exam, and does not have to be spent on the subject it was bought for.
  • Group courses run for the stated number of hours on a fixed timetable. A group takes up to 24 students, taught by level in classes of at most six. Where a group course includes a question bank or practice tests, the question bank opens once the first week is over and the practice tests on the day of the last topic lesson; anything not yet published opens once it is. One-to-one packages of 1, 10 or 20 lessons do not include them. The 50-lesson Ultimate package does: they open on your account when you pay (or once published), and if you later ask for a refund, the list prices on the day of purchase of those you have used are deducted from what is returned.
  • Lessons in a package stay valid until they have been used.

Rescheduling and missed lessons

A private lesson can be cancelled or moved up to three hours before it starts, at no cost. Cancelled later than that, or missed, it counts as delivered and is not refunded — the teacher’s time was held for you. A lesson whose fee has not been paid three hours before it starts is cancelled automatically. If we cancel a lesson, it is not deducted and we reschedule at your convenience.

Every group lesson is recorded, and the recording stays available for 14 days, so a missed lesson can be caught up.

Refunds

Tell us after your first private lesson, or within the opening week of a group course, and the full amount goes back. An email is enough — you are never asked to justify the decision.

You can cancel a lesson package at any time. Lessons already given are charged at the single-lesson price and the rest is refunded. The first-lesson guarantee applies on top.

After the first week, group course fees are not refunded. Each group is built around its enrolled students: the class size, the tutor and the timetable are set for them, and when one student leaves, the course changes for everyone else in the group. This does not affect your legal right to withdraw within 14 days of payment: if you withdraw in that period after lessons have started, the lessons already held are charged in proportion to the course and the rest is refunded.

Every order on this site (lessons, group courses, practice tests, question banks and TestPrep AI Tutor time) is placed under our Terms of Sale and Pre-contract Information, which hold the 14-day right of withdrawal, our refund guarantees and the lesson cancellation rules; you accept them at checkout before you pay.

Your account

Your account is personal and can be used in one session at a time. A new sign-in on any of our websites, from any device, closes all your other sessions, including one open on another of our websites in the same browser. If you are signed out during a test, your answers are saved and you continue where you left off after signing in again. Sharing your login, or downloading our content in bulk with automated tools (bots, scripts, scrapers), is not allowed and may lead to a warning, suspension or closure of the account.

Practice tests and the question bank

Questions and practice tests are our material or licensed to us. You may use them to prepare for your own exam. You may not redistribute them, publish them, or feed them into a service that republishes them. Accounts found sharing credentials are closed without a refund.

Question banks and practice tests are digital content. A question bank bought on its own stays open for four months from the day it opens; a practice test can be taken twice and stays on the account for twelve months.

TestPrep AI Tutor time is digital content too. It is sold in 30-minute blocks and added to your account on this site as soon as the payment goes through; minutes you do not use stay there for your next practice test.

Practice tests, question banks and TestPrep AI Tutor time are digital content. You can ask for a refund of a digital product you have not used within 14 days of the payment date. A product counts as used once any practice test in the pack has been started, any question in a paid section of the question bank has been opened, or any second of TestPrep AI Tutor time has been used; a used product is not refunded.

A score from a practice test is an estimate produced by our simulator. It is not issued by the awarding body and we do not present it as a prediction of your official score.

What we do not promise

We do not promise a score. Nobody honestly can, and this site publishes no score-improvement figures or averages for that reason. What we commit to is the number of hours, the class size, the lesson length and a teacher experienced in the subject — and you can ask how experienced before you book.

Changes and contact
